Open-Concept Dining

Red Bird Remodeling opened up the space between the kitchen and dining rooms, in this Minneapolis home, by removing a wall which caused confinement and isolation to anyone in the kitchen. Once the wall was removed, new hardwood flooring was added in the dining room and feathered into the old kitchen hardwood. The entire floor was then sanded and finished, seamlessly giving it the look that it was a part of the original floor. New patio doors were added, to connect to the deck from the dining area, opening up the space to the backyard. A shimmery new tile backsplash was also installed, adding an updated feel and a pop of glam to the kitchen.
